Our favorite warrior from Game of Thrones, Jon Snow a.k.a Kit Harington is not the good guy we will all be rooting for in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. It turns out that actor Harington is going to be playing the villain in the upcoming Call of Duty game. He’s going to be the face of the Settlement Defense Front, a radical organization that has made its mission to destroy the planet Earth.
“Kit is an amazing talent and the consummate pro,” said Infinity Ward narrative director Taylor Kurosaki in a press release, adding that Kit has immersed himself into the role of this story which is about a showdown between opposing forces. “We can’t wait for fans to see Kit play an entirely different kind of character,” he adds.
To create Harington’s character for this game, Activision and game developer Infinity Ward worked with Guy Ritchie, the director behind acclaimed films like Sherlock Holmes and Snatch. A video of Harington in a motion-capture suit on the Infinite Warfare set has been posted on Facebook.
It’s not uncommon for big actors to become villains in Call of Duty games, Kevin Spacey has played a similar role in Advanced Warfare, so Snow is joining a distinguished company with this CoD stint.
