iPhone 7 Rumored To Come In A ‘Space Black’ Finish

Apple’s iPhones in the past came in a black finish, although they later introduced a white option. However later on and as we have seen in the past few years, Apple has gravitated away from offering solid colors as options, instead they have gone with options like space grey, silver, gold, and rose gold, just to name a few.

However could black be making a comeback? According to the rumors, it seems that black, or rather “space black”, could be a color option coming to the iPhone 7. A post by Shai Mizrachi on Twitter reveals a mockup of what “space black” could look like, which as you can tell is obviously a much darker shade compared to the space grey option.

Interestingly enough this is the second time we’ve heard about the iPhone 7 having new color options. According to an earlier rumor, it was said that the iPhone 7 could be offered in a blue finish, and that Apple could be dropping the space grey option. At that time we had to admit that we were skeptical since colors like white/black are kind of staples.

However now that there are rumors of a space black version, we guess it is possible that maybe Apple will replace space grey with space black, and that blue could also be a new option. Needless to say it should be taken with a grain of salt, but what do you guys think? Would you like to see a more solid black finish return to the iPhone’s color options?
