Alleged iPhone 7 Chassis Shows Lack Of Headphone Port
If there is one prevailing rumor about this year’s iPhone is that Apple could be ditching the headphone port, and that in its place we could be looking at a second set of speakers. Now so far the rumors have been a bit back and forth regarding the second speaker replacing the headphone port, but now a new photo has seemingly “confirmed” it.
As you can see in the image above obtained by Nowhereelse.fr shows the alleged chassis of the iPhone 7, and as you can see, the headphone port is clearly gone and in its place, Apple seems to have added another set of grills which we can only imagine will be for the speakers, or maybe even the microphone.
Having the second set of speakers positioned at the bottom won’t exactly give users a stereo effect, but it will help the phone sound louder, or at least that’s what we imagine. Additional photos obtained by the site also reveals the back of the phone which shows off an interesting looking camera bump.
It seems that in this photo, the lens of the iPhone 7 appears to be larger. So far apart from the dual lens rumor, there hasn’t really been anything said about Apple changing the camera lens, aperture, or megapixels, so it is unclear as to what this seemingly larger lens would imply, but like we said, the rumors are a bit back and forth so it’s probably best to take it all with a grain of salt.
