Gran Turismo Sport is a new PlayStation 4 exclusive title that was recently confirmed. It has also been confirmed that the game will come with 140 premium cars at all but more will be added through DLCs. The producer of this game has confirmed that Gran Turismo Sport DLC is going to be released sooner than DLC was released for Gran Turismo 5. If you’re still hurt about receiving DLC for GT 5 late then perhaps this should finally cheer you up.
Producer Kazunori Yamauchi revealed this in the question and answer session following the game’s media event in Japan. He confirmed that the Gran Turismo Sport community won’t have to wait as long as it did with Gran Turismo 5 for new downloadable content.
Yamauchi confirmed that DLC and updates are being prepared for release after launch, he declined to provide specifics about the new content at this point in time. “That said, we absolutely won’t keep you waiting one year like it happened with Gran Turismo 5. I believe they’ll come out steadily after a certain period from launch,” he added.
In case you forgot, Gran Turismo 5 was released back in November 2010 and the first DLC arrived almost a year later in October 2011. Clearly that’s something they should strive to avoid this year, and from the looks of it, they certainly mean to do so. Gran Turismo Sport is scheduled for release in North America on November 15th with Europe to follow on November 18th, 2016.
