Has every Game of Thrones episode at the end left you wanting more? Have you always felt that maybe the current length per episode is too short for your liking? The good news is that if that’s how you’ve always felt, the season 6 finale will hopefully extend your viewing pleasure as it is expected to run for 69 minutes.
This is according to Entertainment Weekly who reports that HBO has confirmed the finale of season 6 to be its longest yet for Game of Thrones. Actually there have been rumors making their rounds to suggest that season 6 could feature some pretty meaty episodes and we guess this is it. The show’s showrunners have also teased that season 6 would have the show’s biggest battle yet, and presumably this could be it.
HBO has also confirmed the last two episodes in the season, with the penultimate episode called, “The Battle of the Bastards”, which presumably would see the showdown between Jon Snow and Ramsay Bolton. The season finale is called “The Winds of Winter” which is a nod to the title of the next book in the series by George R.R. Martin.
In any case previews of next week’s episode has left many excited, so we can only imagine and hope that the season finale will be able to up the stakes even further.
