It goes without saying that at the moment, Overwatch is one of the hottest games available and it actually isn’t that expensive at $40 for the regular version of the game. However there are some people who just can’t help themselves and would love to get everything for free if they could, which is what one gamer tried to do.
A man by the name of Kyle wrote in to Blizzard in which he was hoping that the company would send him a free copy of the game. The reason? Apparently his wife had refused to buy him a copy of the game on the account that he had already gotten so many things he didn’t need, and that this would be one of them.

That being said, Blizzard obviously got the joke because they responded in kind saying no in a similarly humorous fashion.
We’re not sure if Kyle will ever get his hands on the game, but we have to thank him for the laughs all the same. In the meantime, Kyle isn’t the first gamer to try and get a freebie. Last year a gamer sent Bethesda over 2,000 bottle caps as payment for Fallout 4, a stunt which impressed the developers, so much so that they actually accepted it.
