Galaxy Note 7 Said To Arrive August 2nd With 3,400mAh Battery

The next Galaxy Note flagship from Samsung is one of the most highly anticipated handsets of 2016. Quite a bit of evidence has surfaced recently which suggests that instead of calling it the Galaxy Note 6 as many would have expected, Samsung is going to call its new flagship the Galaxy Note 7. It’s now said that the handset is going to be launched on August 2nd and that it’s going to feature a 3,400mAh battery.

Tech journalist Eldar Murtazin, who has been right on many occasions in the past, hears from his sources that the Galaxy Note 7 is going to have a 3,400mAh battery. It has previously believed that the new flagship is going to have a 4,000mAh battery.

His sources also reiterate most of the specs that have already been leaked, such as the 5.8 inch Quad HD display, Snapdragon 821 and Exynos 8893 processor variants, 6GB RAM, water resistance, iris scanner, a new TouchWiz user interface, and the same cameras that you get on the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge.

There is no official word as yet from Samsung on when it’s going to launch the next Note flagship phablet, but the rumor mill appears to be convinced right now that the announcement is going to take place at an event in New York on August 2nd. A release might take place a couple of weeks after that, precise pricing and availability information will only be revealed after the launch.
