Samsung is believed to be working on a new mid-range handset that might be released in the United States soon. Earlier this month a Samsung handset bearing model number SM-J210F was spotted passing through the FCC, it’s believed to be the Galaxy J2 (2016), this handset has now received its Bluetooth certification in the United States. These certifications are often an indication that a launch is not that far off, and that’s likely to be the case with this handset.

This new mid-range smartphone from Samsung is expected to feature a 4.7 inch display, a 1.5GHz Spreadtrum SC8830 processor with 2GB RAM, 16GB of onboard storage with microSD card expansion support, 8 megapixel rear, and 5 megapixel front camera, 1,500mAh battery as well as Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

The Bluetooth listing did not reveal any specifications of the Galaxy J2 (2016) aside from revealing that it has a 1,500mAh battery. Specifications of this handset have previously been leaked online after its trip to the benchmarks, though nothing has been officially confirmed about this smartphone yet.

It’s unclear how long it’s going to be before the Galaxy J2 (2016) is released in the United States. Given that it’s a mid-range device, it’s likely that we might find it at prepaid carriers, it will also be a good option for people who want to purchase a smartphone upfront without having to spend too much money.
