Are you looking forward to playing the next FIFA title? Given that the FIFA franchise is one of the staples of football (or soccer if you’d rather) video games, we’re guessing that it has a lot of fans who are eager to see what FIFA 17 will be bringing to the table. The good news is that you won’t have to wait too long for it.
EA has officially announced that come 27th of September, FIFA 17 will be released. The game will be released across multiple platforms including the Xbox One, PS4, and the PC. Even better news is that it looks like EA will be showing some love to those who are still running older consoles like the PS3 and the Xbox 360, a bit of a rarity these days as developers are looking to focus on newer hardware.
Of course this means that EA will have access to more players which we can only imagine will do wonders for their sales. In the meantime, EA has worked with four world-class players to try and make the gameplay as realistic as possible. It also relies on the Frostbite engine which has been used in other EA titles like the PGA Tour and Battlefield.
That being said, it should be noted that Frostbite will only be available on current-gen consoles like the Xbox One and PS4, and the PC. Naturally older consoles with older hardware shouldn’t expect the same level of graphics.
