Fallout Shelter was announced last E3 where it made its way onto mobile devices, essentially signalling Bethesda’s entry into the mobile scene. However it looks like Fallout Shelter’s success has convinced Bethesda that maybe the game could do with a wider audience, which is why at this year’s E3, they have announced that the game would be arriving on the PC.
Fallout Shelter for the PC has been announced for a July release and it seems that for the most part it will be similar to the game that gamers have already enjoyed on their mobile devices. There will be the addition of quests, new enemies, new characters, new locations, and so on, so if you enjoyed the mobile version of the game, then maybe its PC equivalent could be worth checking out .
That being said, we’re not sure if the PC version will be as well-received. Part of the fun is that it is on your phone that lets you check on your Vault throughout the day wherever you are. Playing on the PC kind of limits what you can do and when you can do, so color us a little skeptical, but who knows, maybe the PC version will be just as fun and end up being similar to The Sims. In the meantime you can check out Fallout Shelter for the PC in the trailer above at around the 2 minute mark.
