According to the listing on Bethesda’s website, there will only be 3,000 units available so you will want to move fast if you want to get in on this. The description reads, “Exclusive to the Bethesda Store, the Fallout 4: Deluxe Vinyl OST contains the full 65 track game score from renowned game composer Inon Zur. This collection includes over 3.5 hours of Fallout music on six LPs in three full color gatefold jackets, all housed in a full color heavy board-stock slipcover. This is truly a collection of unprecedented proportions.”
It won’t come cheap as the entire set will set you back $125 and it is expected to begin shipping come 1st July 2016. Bethesda isn’t the first company to introduce vinyl soundtracks. We’ve seen this treatment given to games like Monument Valley, Grand Theft Auto, and Journey just to name a few.
Now if you don’t have a vinyl player, don’t worry because it looks like companies are starting to reintroduce the technology. For example last year we saw Panasonic relaunch the Technics turntables, but if you’re not a fan there’s always the option for the more modern TRNTBL.
