Amazon’s Dash buttons make it very easy to order products that you tend to run out of quickly. Dash buttons are already available for several brands that make baby and household products and now the company is opening up the Dash button program to 50 additional brands. It announced today that customers will be able to order consumer packaged goods from 50 more brands using Dash buttons.
Campbell’s Soup, Cascade, Clif Bar, D’Addario, Dial Liquid Hand Soap, FIJI Water, FoodSaver, Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Crackers, Hubert’s Lemonade, Lavazza, Mentos, Nutiva, Puffs, Quilted Northern, simplehuman, Trident, V8 Vegetable Juice, and more have been added to the Dash program.
Amazon Prime members can now get a total of 150 Dash buttons. The company has quickly scaled up this program after it started with just 29 brands last year, though it’s not exactly clear just how popular Dash buttons are with customers.
Amazon has not provided any concrete figures, but the company says that it has seen order frequency double over the past three months and that orders are now being placed twice per minute.
Each Dash button costs $4.99 but they are essentially free for Amazon Prime customers because the $4.99 charge is refunded after the first order is placed using the button.
