Virtual reality is still a relatively new piece of technology, although admittedly it seems to be progressing rather nicely. Now for gamers who have bought the Oculus Rift and its Oculus Touch controllers, you’ll be pleased to learn that there will be more titles released this year that will support the controllers.
Like we said, the tech is still new which means that selection isn’t as much as gamers would like, but Oculus’ announcement should give gamers more options to choose from. According to their announcement, “We’re excited to share that Oculus Touch will launch with more than 30 full, made-for-VR games later this year, including 20 brand-new titles that are designed around the immersive sense of hand presence you can only get with Touch.”
Some of the titles they revealed include Rock Band VR Pro Fishing Challenge, Job Simulator, Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope, and Giant Cop, just to name a few. Oculus notes that these are just a few of the titles that will be available and that there are apparently hundreds in the works, so if you were hoping that your VR investment won’t go to waste, we reckon these titles that are due for a release this year will be enough to keep you pretty busy. In the meantime you can check out a preview in the video above.
