His latest endeavor comes in the form of a pair of headphones dubbed the i.am+ EPs which will be exclusive to the Apple Store. Now the musician’s previous tech efforts haven’t exactly yielded the best designs, but we have to admit that the i.am+ EPs do look pretty good. They are small, sleek, and best of all wireless.
These are a pair of Bluetooth headphones that will pack 14mm drivers and an aptX sound engine. Its battery is said to last a good six hours on a single charge and can be recharged via a micro USB cable. It supports A2DP controls and will come with an integrated remote and microphone, although they will not come cheap.
The i.am+ EPs are priced at $229.95 and will be available in two color options: gold on black, or black on black. We can’t really attest to the sound but know that if you are willing to spend that much on headphones, there are plenty of other more well-known and potentially higher-quality options out there.
