Ubisoft is a company you might associate with games like Assassin’s Creed, Watch Dogs, and Far Cry, just to name some of their biggest hits. With Watch Dogs, it represented a brand new franchise for the company and that was launched in 2014, but it looks like Ubisoft is already preparing a new franchise.
During an investor’s briefing call, the company’s CFO Alain Martinez revealed that Ubisoft has plans to unveil a brand new franchise. Martinez originally stated that the game would be revealed at E3 itself, but he was corrected by the company’s CEO Yves Guillemot who said that the game would actually be revealed ahead of the event.
We can only assume that this will be a brand new franchise, Ubisoft will want gamers talking about it, which also means that at E3 itself, Ubisoft will be able to share additional details or maybe even show off demos (and let attendees play demos) of the game that audiences are already familiar with.
It’s really anyone’s guess as to what the new franchise will be, so we guess you’ll just have to remain patient and remember to check back with us in the coming weeks where hopefully we will have the official details for you guys.
