The carrier has launched a new promotion which promises customers a free Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime handset as long as they purchase a new Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone from Magenta. As always, this promotion is only going to be available for a limited time, so if it interests you, you better not waste any time.
The Galaxy Grand Prime is a mid-range smartphone from Samsung, and it can be had for free if the one of the current flagships is purchased from T-Mobile. In order to qualify for the free handset, customers have to purchase the Galaxy S7 or the Galaxy S7 Edge on T-Mobile’s installment plan.
The Galaxy Grand Prime features a 5 inch 540×960 pixel resolution display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor under the hood with 1.5GB RAM, 8GB onboard storage with microSD card support and 4G LTE. It also has an 8 megapixel rear and 5 megapixel front camera. It’s no Android powerhouse but it’s a decent mid-range handset.
Magenta hasn’t confirmed for how long this promotion will be available.
