It looks like the folks over at Sony have accidentally shared images of their soon-to-arrive smartphone, the Sony Xperia E5, which will reside in the mid-range side of things. This is one handset that we already knew was about to hit the markets in due time, as it was just yesterday that we brought you word on how the Sony F3311 could jolly well be the Sony Xperia E5.
This time around, it was Sony Mobile’s Facebook page that committed such a leak – by accident rather than by design, it seems. It will certainly be far from being a flagship device, that is for sure, although the accidental leak has now been deleted by Sony Mobile, but the Internet has done its bit to preserve what has been released earlier on, and frankly speaking, it is decent enough to lay your eyeballs upon.
The Sony Xperia E5 is said to feature a 4.6” display at 720 x 1280 resolution, a MediaTek 6735 chipset running the show underneath the hood, possibly 1.5GB of RAM, a 16MP shooter at the back and a front-facing 5MP shooter. As for its pricing details, that remains to be seen, but seeing that this is a mid-range device, it should not cost a bomb and neither will it burn a huge hole in your pocket.
