There are so many different Pokemon games that it is easy to feel a bit overwhelmed, although for the most part most of them let you play against other players by competing your caught Pokemon with theirs. However Pokemon Go is expected to change that by relying on augmented reality tech to let players play Pokemon in real-life.
The game was announced last year and for those who can’t wait to start trying it out for themselves, you will be pleased to learn that beta signups in the US have gone live. Prior to this, the betas were being held in New Zealand and Australia, so it’s nice to see it make its way to the US at last.
For those interested in signing up, you can do so by heading on over here. You will need to have a valid Gmail or Google account to proceed, and you will also have to select your platform. Note that just because you signup doesn’t mean you will be selected for sure. However we suppose at the very least it does put you in the running to be chosen.
Unfortunately for the rest of us who don’t have access to the beta, there is no word on when the game will be launched for real so until then, we guess you’ll have to signup for the beta and keep your fingers crossed and hope you will be chosen for it!
