Nintendo has announced today that it’s going to give the chance to play The Legend of Zelda Wii U demo to 500 fans at a special event next month. It’s going to showcase the new title at the E3 2016 gaming convention in June. Starting June 11th, it’s going to give fans the opportunity to sign up and be selected for hands-on time with The Legend of Zelda at a six-day event that it’s going to hold in New York City.
Nintendo says that June 11th is going to be “Super-Fan Signup Day,” meaning that when it opens the doors to Nintendo NY in Rockefeller Center that day, quite a lot of people will be waiting in line to sign up for this opportunity.
It won’t let all of them experience the demo, though. Only 500 people will be allowed to register for the chance to play the new Zelda game, so if you’re interested, be sure to queue up early as the line starts to form at 7 am ET on June 11th.
Registered fans will get to play The Legend of Zelda Wii U demo from June 14th to June 19th, but only after the Nintendo Treehouse: Live from E3 stream ends at 3 pm ET.
Those who aren’t able to register will also be able to check out the new Zelda game in guided demonstrations until June 19th.
