While it might be too early to tell, a report from Gizmo China has revealed that the OnePlus 3 could come in more than one variant. The report claims that there will be two versions of the phone, and if you’re thinking that one will pack high-end specs while the other will be a mid-ranger, think again.
The report claims that both OnePlus 3 variants will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, but the “base” model will come with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, while the more high-end model will pack 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Like we said, neither option is the mid-ranger. If anything, the 6GB model sounds like it will be an extra premium device.
Of course this should be taken with a grain of salt for now especially since 6GB phones are pretty much unheard of at this point in time. Other possible features for the OnePlus 3 could include some kind of fast charging technology, thanks to a recent trademark filed by the company.
