OnePlus has always branded its smartphones as flagship killers, the idea being to provide flagship-level specifications at lower prices. It has already released a few handsets and they have been well received. Now that some of the biggest Android-powered flagships for 2016 have been released it’s time to see what OnePlus has in store for us. The company hasn’t confirmed specifications of its next flagship as yet but today the OnePlus 3 specs have been leaked online.
The OnePlus 3 leaked specifications come from none other than @evleaks, who has made quite a name for himself when it comes to these things, so it’s quite possible that what we read here is what’s going to be inside the handset.
OnePlus 3 is said to feature a 5.5 inch full HD 1080p display with a Snapdragon 820 processor, 16 megapixel rear camera, NFC, and software from an Android N preview build.
It has previously been rumored that two variants of the OnePlus 3 will be released, one with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage and the other with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. Both handsets are expected to be priced in the $300-$400 range.
The company hasn’t confirmed any details about the specifications itself, but it did confirm yesterday that the OnePlus 3 is going to have a unique ordering process. Customers interested in this handset can order it in virtual reality before anybody else, OnePlus is even shipping out free VR headsets for this purpose.
