We have been hearing a fair bit of rumors regarding the OnePlus 3 recently, and thanks to the latest rumor, it has been revealed that the OnePlus 3 will be packing a larger battery than its predecessor, the OnePlus 2, so if battery anxiety is something you suffer from then perhaps this might be worth looking into.
The OnePlus 2, for those unfamiliar, packs a 3,300mAh battery under the hood. However the new rumor claims that the OnePlus 3 will be featuring a slightly larger battery of 3,500mAh. Granted the difference is only 200mAh, but we suppose every little bit counts. Not to mention the rumored specs which includes a more powerful Snapdragon 820 chipset, maybe the extra 200mAh will at the very least be able to offset the amount of power needed to keep the lights on.
That being said we’re not sure if the 3,500mAh battery will apply to all versions of the phone. Last we heard, there were rumors saying that the OnePlus 3 could come in two variants. Both variants will be the same in terms of chipset and display, but one will come with more RAM and storage than the other. In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, and we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for an official announcement.
