The TENAA listing confirmed that this handset features a Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB RAM, 64GB onboard storage, 16 megapixel rear and 8 megapixel front camera, 3,000mAh battery as well as a 5.5 inch Full HD display. It will come running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow straight out of the box.
OnePlus has already confirmed that it’s going to conduct a VR launch for its new handset like last time. It has already sent out the free VR headsets for this purpose, viewers will be able to order the OnePlus 3 in virtual reality before everybody else.
The company is expected to launch the handset in the first couple of weeks next month, there have been hints that OnePlus is finally going to do away with the cumbersome invite-ordering process that it put in place for all previous releases.
