According to a sighting at TENAA (China’s version of the FCC) last week, it was revealed that the OnePlus 3 could come with 4GB of RAM. However according to a new sighting of the device as spotted by Nowhereelse.fr also at TENAA has uncovered another version of the OnePlus 3 with 6GB of RAM.
Now there are several possibilities here. One is that the original listing was made in error and that the phone does come with 6GB of RAM. Another possibility is that we could be looking at multiple variants of the OnePlus 3, with one model coming with 6GB of RAM and other upgraded specs over the base model.
After all ASUS themselves recently launched the ZenFone 3 in three different models, so it wouldn’t be unheard of if OnePlus were to offer up different versions of their phone at different price points. However other than that, the rest of the specs seem to be similar to that of the previous sighting.
This means that we can still expect a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, 64GB of onboard storage, a 16MP rear-facing camera, an 8MP front-facing camera, a 3,000mAh battery, and a 5.5-inch Full HD display. Needless to say maybe you should still maintain some level of skepticism for now, but hopefully more details will be revealed come 14th of June.
