It looks like the world’s largest democracy, India, is now on the receiving end of the Nextbit Robin smartphone, which has undergone a rather successful Kickstarter campaign, to say the least. The Nextbit Robin is a pretty special handset, as it is a cloud-focused smartphone, and over in India, it is tipped to appear exclusively on Flipkart this coming 30th of May for INR 19,999 a pop – that would be roughly converted to $297.
At that price point, one will be able to select from the Mint as well as Grey color options. Do take note as well that the handset has already been made available on Amazon for a few weeks now, accompanied by international shipping to boot, so if you happen to reside outside of India, this might be a good choice to consider – especially if you have a stable Internet connection all the while.
As a refresher, the Nextbit Robin will sport a 5.2” IPS Full HD display, 3GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 808 chipset, a 13MP shooter at the back with a 5MP front-facing camera, and a 2,680 mAh battery to keep things running along. With just 32GB of internal storage capacity and no SD memory card slot, the Nextbit Robin has 100GB more storage space within the proverbial cloud, now how about that?
