Apart from the partnership with DR1, Dew has also shown off their spanking new, high-octane TV and digital spot “Drone Hunting” in order to anchor year two of the brand’s global “Do The DEW” marketing campaign, which has been inspired from the brand belief, “it doesn’t exist until you do it.”
The DR1 Invitational presented by Mountain Dew will boast of a dozen of the top drone racing pilots in the world, where they will go up head to head to ultimately bring home the title at the iconic Sepulveda Dam in Los Angeles some time later this summer. Pilots will be able to control drones from the top of the dam, as they go up against a range of environmental and man-made obstacles, flying their drones at insane speeds of over 80 MPH with the spectators viewing from above.
