It looks like the folks over at Microsoft have decided to introduce a spanking new feature to its Word, Excel and PowerPoint apps for the Android platform, which is a good thing. Known as “Tell Me,” one can then learn just about anything that one requires to know concerning this trio of apps simply by using it. Using it is a snap – just tap on the “A” and pencil icon on the top of the page, proceeding with selecting the light bulb icon. For tablet users, click on the light bulb right away as it is seen in the upper right corner of the screen.
The moment “Tell Me” opens and a text box appears, all that you need to do is to type what you intend to find out concerning the Office app that is in use, and do expect an answer to arrive in double quick time. It might take some time before you wean yourself off Google for this, but with Microsoft Office, “Tell Me” saves time since it can be done within the app itself to increase the level of efficiency in the long run.
Of course, other features are also being introduced with this particular update, so you might want to give it a go yourself.
