It has been about a week since the Marshmallow update for LG G3 on T-Mobile was spotted. Users had to hook up their phones to the PC to manually download the update as the over-the-air rollout hadn’t begun. That changes today as the Marshmallow OTA for LG G3 on T-Mobile has now started rolling out to users in the United States. The update was spotted for AT&T’s variant of this handset as well around the same time.

When the update first came up it could only be installed manually on the device using the LG PC Suite. Not everybody is willing to put in the time and effort because OTA updates are much easier.

T-Mobile has now updated the support page for the LG G3 on its website to reflect that the over-the-air update is rolling out. The changelog doesn’t list much aside from the fact that this update brings Android 6.0 Marshmallow and improvements to the Wi-Fi calling feature.

New features that Marshmallow brings include Doze mode, Google Now on Tap, granular app permissions, user interface tweaks and much more.

LG G3 is now getting this update version number H63120b over-the-air on T-Mobile, it shouldn’t be long before it goes live for all users across the country.
