New iPhone 7/7s Plus Drawings Show Return Of The Smart Connector
It’s probably not really that big of a secret that Apple will be launching an iPhone 7 and 7 Plus later this year. What is still a secret are the specs and features of the phone which right now seem to be still up in the air, with fresh rumors seemingly contradicting each other. Now thanks to recently leaked drawings courtesy of uSwitch (via MacRumors), it seems that more confusion has been added to the mix.
For the most part, the iPhone 7 appears to be similar to what we have expected and what we have seen so far. It also corroborates the claims that the design of the iPhone 7 won’t be too different from its predecessor, and from what we can see, it looks like the camera bump will be remaining in place.
As for the iPhone 7 Plus, this is where it gets interesting. There appears to be a dual lens setup, which is pretty much in line with what we had heard earlier, and at the bottom there appears to be a drawing of a Smart Connector. This would contradict earlier rumors that the iPhone 7 will not feature a Smart Connector.
Now it seems to suggest that the smaller iPhone 7 will not sport the Smart Connector, but the larger iPhone 7 Plus will. Confused yet? Other than that, the iPhone 7 Plus’s design will remain the same as the iPhone 7, just a bit bigger, but until we get the official word from Apple, we guess we don’t have to remind you to take it with a grain of salt for now.
