If you’re still in the market for a new smartphone, there are plenty of options to choose from, but if you’re looking for a deal, you’re in luck. This coming Memorial Day weekend, HTC has announced that they will be giving away a free RE Camera to those who purchase a brand new HTC 10 handset.
For those who are unfamiliar with the RE Camera, this is basically HTC’s attempt at creating a pocketable action camera that presumably would have gone up against the likes of GoPro had it been successful. Unfortunately reviews of the device have been less than stellar and since its launch, it has seen its $200 price tag drop to as low as $50.
Now according to HTC, this offer will be valid starting from today and will run until the 30th of May. “Offer valid from 9 p.m. PT on 5/26/2016 to 11:59 p.m. PT on 5/30/2016.” If you’re not in the market for a new smartphone, the promotion will also include 60% off the RE Camera and 40% off other HTC-related accessories.
Like we said, this seems to be a decent deal if you’re looking to get an action camera and a new phone. Even if the RE Camera doesn’t live up to your expectations, the fact that it is free means that it won’t be that big of a loss to you. More details about the promotion can be found on HTC’s website.
