HTC10_Gray-2It looks like the folks over at HTC have started to introduced a brand new software update for the number of unlocked HTC 10 smartphones out there in the US. This is a mid-sized update, weighing in at 400MB, where it should be able to bump up the version number to 1.53.617.5, and on the surface, it pretty much looks as though it is similar to that which was released the previous week for unlocked HTC 10 smartphones across the pond – in Europe, that is.

The official changelog does lay claim that this new update will boast of important enhancements that are related to the smartphone’s camera performance, Wi-Fi stability, and overall system stability. Which are pretty much important improvements on any smartphone, so for those whose HTC 10 devices actually qualify under such a category, you might be interested to take note of it and start downloading some of these updates.

Apart from being sold as an unlocked device Stateside, the HTC 10 will also make its way into the hands of consumers in that part of the world through the likes of Verizon Wireless, Sprint and T-Mobile, although it is said to give AT&T a miss. In other words, one should also keep their fingers crossed that the carrier versions of the HTC 10 will be on the receiving end of a similar software update in due time.
