Hitman is a franchise that has been around for a while now, and while there have been many versions of the game, ranging from the classic, to the more recent reboot, and to the interesting puzzle-variant that was Hitman GO, safe to say that Hitman: Blood Money is/was one of the more beloved titles in the Hitman franchise.
The game was released back in 2006 meaning that we are looking at a game that is about 10 years old now. The good news is that we could be looking forward to a remaster in the future, or at least the door on that possibility is still open, at least according to a recent tweet by the official Hitman Twitter account.
When asked whether or not they have considered remastering Blood Money, they replied by saying, “Yes, we have considered it. Blood Money is a much-loved game & we’d want to do it justice. Focus now is on the current game though.” Now this doesn’t mean that there will be a remaster, it’s just that the developers are open and receptive to the idea.
However given that the latest Hitman was just released and the game will be episodic in nature with the intent of ensuring that each release is of high quality, this means that until all the episodes have been released, you probably shouldn’t expect to see Blood Money’s remaster, but at least we know that it could come, one day.
