This Early Access section will be a section similar to other app sections offered on Google Play. However the goal of Early Access is to highlight various apps which are currently in open beta, meaning that anyone can just download them and take it for a spin without having to sign up to be part of the beta and so on.
This means that you will get to try new apps before they are released in their final form, provide feedback to the developer on any changes, improvements, or bugs that you come across. According to Google, “We’ll also be adding a new featured section to the store, called Google Play Early Access, showcasing a hand-picked group of promising open betas that haven’t gone to production yet.”
However since the apps are in open beta, it means that what you see might not necessarily make it into the final release, or that you could come across bugs, but we suppose that’s kind of the whole of participating in a beta to help flush out any bugs or issues. In any case if this sounds like something you might be interested in, then you’ll want to keep an eye out for it in the near future.
