To date we have seen the folks at Square Enix release various HD remasters of games from their Final Fantasy franchise, and as you might have heard the other day, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster would be the latest title to be released on the PC in the form of a HD remaster, and the good news is that it has now been released.
Gamers who are interested in reliving some nostalgia on the PC will be able to get their hands on the game via Steam who is selling it at $24. This is a 20% discount on the original price so if you’d like to save yourself some money, then perhaps this is a deal worth checking out soon before it expires.
Like we mentioned the other day, this version of Final Fantasy will be identical to the release on the PS3, PS4, and the PS Vita, so gamers can look forward to new HD visuals, a remastered soundtrack, and other features like auto-saving, boosters, trading cards, turbo speeds, enemy encounter settings, and so on.
Note that according to a post on Steam, gamers who want English text/subtitles will only be able to listen to the game in English. However if you want a more “authentic” experience with Japanese audio, there will not be any English text provided, something to take into consideration when selecting your language.
