We know that many gamers are probably excited for the upcoming Final Fantasy XV, but unfortunately given that the game will only be seeing a release later this year, this means that gamers will need to contend with other Final Fantasy titles to tide themselves over until then. The good news is that you’ll only have to wait a couple of days for that to happen.
In case you’ve pretty much gone through every Final Fantasy HD remaster out there, you’ll be pleased to learn that Square Enix will be launching the HD remaster of Final Fantasy 10 and 10-2 later this week. This is thanks to a recent sighting of the game on Steam in which its release date has been set for the 13th of May.
The PC port of the game is expected to pack pretty much the same features as that of the PS3, PS4, and the PS Vita, along with the usual assortment of PC features that Square Enix typically adds to their game. The game will feature HD visuals, a remastered soundtrack, auto-saves, and different boosters to help gamers skip over any bits that they might find too grind-y.
The game was release back in 2001 for the PS2, meaning that it has been 15 years since. While the graphics are obviously nowhere near modern day games, it still has a somewhat nostalgic feel to it that we’re sure fans of the franchise can appreciate.
