Over the weekend, EA announced that the next Battlefield title will be revealed on the 6th of May, which is tomorrow. With Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare having already been announced and set for a release on the 4th of November later this year, we suppose it doen’t really come as a surprise that the next Battlefield announcement is following it so closely behind.
Now for those curious about the game, you guys only have to wait for one more day, but in the meantime the folks at EA have decided to throw us a bone with a teaser trailer, which you can check out for yourself in the video above. The teaser is truly a teaser and doesn’t really give us much to work with, but it does give us a brief glimpse at some footage which according to the caption, is based on the game’s engine.
We have to say that it looks really good, but then again FPS games in this day and age have more or less achieved that look. Heck, even the remastered version of Modern Warfare is equally impressive. That being said, we’re not sure what we can expect from Battlefield 5 right now, as in whether it will be a throwback to the past where it will have a World War II setting, or if we might be looking at a futuristic title akin to Battlefield 2142, either way do check back with us tomorrow for all the details.
