The new DOOM game is coming out soon and if you’re planning to play it on PC then you will surely want to know what requirements your system has to meet in order to run this game. Bethesda has confirmed these important details today and has also provided pre-load details, file size as well as the launch timing. Earlier today it also released the launch trailer for the new DOOM game.
Minimum PC requirements include Intel Core i5/AMD FX-8320 processor or better with 8GB RAM, 55GB HDD space, NVIDIA GTX 670/AMD Radeon HD 7870 or better graphics card, Windows 7 and up.
If you want the best possible experience, Bethesda recommends having a PC with Intel Core i7-3770/AMD FX-8450 or better with 8GB RAM, 55GB HDD space, NVIDIA GTX 970/AMD Radeon R9 290 or better graphics card and 64-bit versions of Windows 7 or higher.
Bethesda is going to have links to the officially supported AMD and NVIDIA drivers for DOOM’s launch by next week so check on its website in a few days to get the drivers.
The new DOOM game is already available for pre-loading on Xbox One, it will be available to pre-load on PlayStation 4 starting 12 am ET on May 11th. PC users need to have at least 45GB of free space on their hard drive while console players require 50GB. DOOM will be released for PS4, Xbox One and PC on May 13th.
