When you think of AIO desktop systems, what you’re probably thinking of are computers designed to help save space and take up as little room on your table as possible. Also given that they tend to be compact, it also means in terms of power, certain compromises have to be made, or at least that’s what we thought until we saw the Digital Storm Aura.
The computer maker has recently unveiled a newer model of its Aura desktop computer which will sport a 34-inch curved display, meaning that this desktop gaming rig is by no means a desktop saver. However if you wanted an immersive gaming experience, we reckon you could come pretty close with the Aura.
For starters it has a 34-inch display with a resolution of 3440×1440. Under the hood, the Aura will pack an Intel Broadwell E-based Core i7 Extreme Edition processor, and it will also support the latest GeForce GTX 1080 GPU. There is even support for liquid cooling, and unlike other AIO systems, Digital Storm claims that all the parts are replaceable, so feel free to upgrade if and when you need.
Of course such a gaming rig will not come cheap and the base model itself will come priced at $1,999. For those who want the best of the best, it is set at $3,127 which we reckon you could probably end up building a regular gaming rig. If you’d like to check out the various config options, head on over to Digital Storm’s website for the details.
