When you think of 2-in-1 devices, you might be thinking of devices that are small-ish. After all the point of these 2-in-1 devices is that they can act as a laptop and as a tablet, so obviously have a large devices means that it will become heavier and more unwieldy. There is a reason why the majority of tablets do not sport particularly huge displays.
However it seems that Dell wants to buck the trend because the company has unveiled the Inspiron 17 7000, which is basically a 17-inch 2-in-1 device. As you can see in the image above, the end result is a computer with a pretty huge touchscreen display, which might be ideal if you like watching videos on the go.
The computer will support Intel’s 6th gen Core processors and will sport a Full HD display. It will also come with support for USB-C connectivity which seems to be the standard of the future, so if future-proofing is something you’re concerned about then this should keep you updated for the foreseeable future.
It will also support SSD options and will also come with Waves MaxxAudio Pro audio software for an enhanced listening experience. The Inspiron 17 7000 will be available on Dell’s website come 2nd of June.
