It looks like Bang & Olufsen, one of the names when it comes to high end audio products and services, have decided to issue an update to the BeoPlay A6 as well as the BeoPlay A9, by making sure that Google Cast will be hitting those. In addition, Bang & Olufsen has also made sure that Google Cast will eventually make its way to the rest of its upcoming speakers, now how about that for a forward looking statement?
Just what is Google Cast, you ask? It is basically the renamed ChromeCast app, and it is interesting to note that Google Cast for audio happens to be a standard feature on majority of the new wireless speakers which are in the market these days. Bang & Olufsen does not look as though they would want to tarnish their name by being left behind, hence ensuring that its B&O Play customers will also be able to hop aboard the Google Cast bandwagon.
The update for the BeoPlay A6 and the BeoPlay A9 will include Google Cast support, which is in line with Bang & Olufsen’s promise that was made earlier this year. There are also different connectivity methods where Bang & Olufsen products are concerned, including Apple AirPlay and Bluetooth.
