Microsoft’s Band 2 wearable has had some success, although given that earlier this year the device was discounted by $75, it would seem to suggest that Microsoft really wants customers to buy the device. Now if you think that maybe you might have missed out on the opportunity to take advantage of said discount, you’re not too late.
According to reports, it seems that the $75 discount has been extended until the 9th of July. It was originally expected to last until the 29th of May, but for some reason Microsoft has decided to keep the discount going for an additional month or so, which we guess is good news for would-be customers,
If you’d like to take advantage of this discount, you’ll be able to get your hands on the device from Microsoft’s website. We’re not sure if Microsoft has plans to make the discount permanent. After all the extension of the discount seems to suggest that it is working. We also haven’t heard anything to suggest that a new model could be in the works, but we suppose that could be likely as well.
In the meantime Microsoft has continued to update its wearable by releasing a new tile that is aimed at those who enjoy the hiking experience.
