gophone-at&t

You can never go wrong with more mobile data, and it’s best when it comes at no additional cost to you. In a bid to make its prepaid offering more enticing, AT&T has decided to throw in an additional gigabyte of data for its GoPhone prepaid plans, it was reported a few days ago that AT&T might do this and today it has been confirmed. The move follows Verizon’s recent announcement of more data on Big Red’s prepaid plans.

Currently, GoPhone subscribers paying $45 per month get 2GB of LTE data but starting May 27th they will get a total of 3GB mobile data at no additional cost to them. Customers who are on the $60 plan that currently offers 5GB data will get 6GB data starting this Friday.

Customers already get unlimited talk and text on both plans, as well as rollover data, enabling them to bundle unused data from the previous month in the coming month. Those who are interested can sign up for AT&T’s GoPhone prepaid plans online through the carrier’s website.

It’s possible to get a $5 discount on these plans by enabling Auto Refill, which either charges a debit or credit card or debits a customer’s checking account for $40 and $55 respectively, depending on the GoPhone plan they’re chosen.
