According to a report from Bloomberg, word on the street has it that Apple Music could be getting ready for a huge revamp to its UI come this June, which coincidentally enough is also when WWDC 2016 will be taking place. Apparently this is done in response to reviews who have criticized Apple for its poor UI, and also because of several Apple Music executives who have since left the company.
Just last year, Apple admitted that their music streaming service still needs a lot of work and or a platform that is nearly a year old, racking up 13 million subscribers is no doubt an impressive feat, but obviously the company needs to improve upon its service if they hope to maintain that subscriber base and to grow it further.
The revamp is said to include better integration between its streaming and download businesses, and will also see the expansion of their online radio service. Take it with a grain of salt for now, but if you are in agreement that Apple Music’s UI needs some work done on it, then hopefully we’ll have the details next month that delivers just that.
