Acer Takes The Wraps Off New Windows 10-Powered Laptops
As far as consumers are concerned, we are pretty much spoiled for choice when it comes to choosing laptops. There are so many options out there, ranging from cheap to expensive, to consumer and enterprise focused, and so on. Recently Acer has announced several new Windows 10 laptops, one of which could appeal to you.
Starting with the Switch V 10 2-in-1 laptop, this is an affordable laptop that is aimed primarily at students and young professionals. It sports a detachable 10.1-inch display that allows it to double up as a tablet. It will be powered by Windows 10 and will come with a built-in fingerprint read for security purposes and will be priced at $249, making it cheaper than some tablet options out there.
Next up is the Switch One 10 which also offers up similar functionality, in that its screen can be detached. This allows the laptop to stay a laptop, become a tablet, a tent, or act as a display. It is powered by the latest Intel Atom processors and will also come with a built-in fingerprint reader, dual cameras, 8 hours of battery life, and will be priced starting at $199.
Now if you are in the market for something a little more powerful, Acer has you covered with the new TravelMate P2 series of laptops. These laptops are offered in 14-inch and 15.6-inch options and will be powered by Intel’s latest 6th gen Core CPU. It will also come with NVIDIA’s GeForce 940M GPU, Full HD LED displays, and the Trusted Platform Module which provides the user with hardware-based encryption. It will be priced starting at $599 when it is released later this year.
