In fact just yesterday, Google released the Android N developer preview for the Sony Xperia Z3, making it the first non-Nexus handset to receive the software. So what about other Android devices? That still remains a bit of a mystery, but the good news is that it looks like the Sony Xperia Z2 has been on the receiving end of the Android N developer preview.
However we should point out that this is an unofficial Android N port thanks to XDA member Brandon Nel. We should also note that this port is still in its early stages and it has been pointed out that there are some issues with it, such as its camera is laggy and is prone to crashing, along with multi-window, and other features like Recovery (TWRP) and root no longer work.
The good news is that Nel is still working on cleaning up the port so we guess eventually it will be in working condition suitable for a daily driver, so until then we guess maybe you should wait or even lend a helping hand if you know what you are doing.
