Samsung-Galaxy-S6-Edge-Plus-12Last week T-Mobile begun to roll out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for both the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, but what about the Galaxy S6 Edge+? After all on the same day itself, Verizon began pushing out the Marshmallow update to its version of the Galaxy S6 Edge+, but the good news is that the wait is over.

Granted it has been about a week since Verizon owners got their update, but like we said before, better late than never. According to user reports, it seems that T-Mobile has begun pushing out the OTA update for Android 6.0 Marshmallow for their version of the Galaxy S6 Edge+. The update will bump the version of the phone to Android 6.0.1 and will also bring about Google’s latest security patch.

So not only will users be getting the latest build of Android, but they will also get Google’s latest security patch that will hopefully keep them safe from any potential threats or security flaws that were discovered in the previous month. If you haven’t received the notification that the update is ready, you can try to pull it manually.

Just head on over to your phone’s Settings menu, select About Device, and then select Software Update and then hit the Update Now button. After that you should be able to update your device, if not we guess you’ll just have to remain patient until it is your time.
