Earlier this year, there were rumors that Sony had a new handset in the works in the form of the Sony Xperia C6. There were even leaked renders to accompany said rumor, but we haven’t really heard anything about the phone since then. However a new leak has surfaced and this time it shows off the photo of the alleged device.
As you can see in the photo to the right, it shows off a Sony handset that appears to be rather large and is supposedly that of the Sony Xperia C6. However the photo is certainly very different from the renders, in which the renders show off a thicker base while in this photo, the base isn’t as thick. The front-facing camera also appears to be noticeably larger.
Of course there’s no way to confirm that the device in question is the Sony Xperia C6 so do take it with a grain of salt for now. Unfortunately there are no specs accompanying the leak, but given that the Xperia C series isn’t exactly a high-end one, don’t expect anything particularly impressive from the device.
Last we heard, it could feature a 5-inch display and could be powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 chipset. No word on when Sony will launch the device, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more information should any surface.
