shazam-update

Shazam is undoubtedly one of the most frequently used music recognition services around the globe even though it’s getting a lot more competition these days from the likes of Cortana, Siri, and other services. It has tried to stay ahead of the pack by improving the pace at which tracks are recognized and even integration with Google Now. Now it finally has the ability to sync matched tracks across multiple devices.

One would think that Shazam would have been able to do this from the get go because it makes absolute sense for this feature to be there from the very start, but that’s not the case.

Shazam users can now access matched tracks across all of their devices. They just need to be signed into their account on that device and it doesn’t matter if they search for a song using their mobile device or PC, the results will be synced across all devices.

This will enable users to keep track of their activity on Shazam without having to go back to the device they normally use to search for songs. Once a song has been recognized users have the option to listen to it on Spotify or purchase it from Amazon or Google Play. This feature has now gone live for all Shazam users.
