Hey you out there, yes, you who happen to love snapping selfies just about wherever you go! It looks like a selfie stick is no longer all the rage, especially since you will be able to take advantage of a selfie drone that will not only help you shoot selfies from various angles, but also boast of the ability to snap 360-degree panoramas.
That is not all as well, as this particular selfie drone is also more than capable of streaming a live video throughout its entire 20 minutes of flight time. This is an Australian-born device, where it allows you to capture selfies without having to stretch the hand, so that you would gain that perfect snapshot whenever you are out doing all of the touristy stuff.
Australian technology company IoT Group is the one behind what it calls the “ROAM-e” drone, and has already opened it up for pre-sale with international shipping set to commence some time in June later this year. Ian Duffell, who is executive director of the IoT Group, claims that they intend to come up with “a selfie stick on steroids”. He said, “The selfie stick’s problem is it’s confined by the length of the stick. The thought was, let’s get the thing taking the picture flying with you.”
The $267 “ROAM-e” with its dual rotors can also be programmed to make use of facial recognition technology in order to follow the user at a distance of up to 25 meters, now how about that?
