Samsung has gradually been unveiling products in its 2016 TV lineup and today the company has finally confirmed when the new TVs will be available for purchase and how much they’re going to cost. They’re not exactly going to be cheap as all five new lines of Samsung’s 2016 SUHD TVs have 4K quantum dot displays with support for HDR video.
The company also says that its new TVs have a new feature called “Ultra Black” that reduces reflections to create deeper blacks on screen. Some models do have a curved display, all have a slim “boundless design edge” that promises optimum viewing.
The KS9800 is the new flagship series from Samsung. It has a curved display available in 64, 78 and 88 inch sizes, priced at $4,499, $9,999 and $19,999 respectively. Only the 78 inch model will go on sale next month as the other two will arrive in June.
Samsung continues its previous series of curved TVs with the KS9500, available in 55, 65 and 78 inch models the prices of these TVs are $2,499, $3,699 and $7,999 respectively. The 78 inch model will arrive in June while the two smaller models are immediately available.
In the flat display category, the KS9000 models lead the charge. They’re available in 55, 65 and 75 inch sizes for $2,299, $3,499 and $6,499 respectively. The 55 and 65 inch models are available right now and the larger model will be available this June.
